Visitor FAQ: the age gate, legality and discretion
For everyone on Lusty
The questions people ask before they trust the platform, answered in one place. Help explains; the legal hub governs.
Why the age gate exists
Lusty is an 18+ platform in a country where that is the law and the right thing to do. The gate is one confirmation, remembered in a cookie on your device — per-country policy decides how long it lasts — so you confirm once and browse after that. Every public surface, help centre included, sits behind it.
Is Lusty legal?
Lusty operates as a verified advertising and social platform for adult companions, with work agreements for everyone who lists. The legal detail — terms, privacy, content policy, trust & safety, takedown and the work agreements — lives at /policies. Help explains what things are; the legal documents govern what they mean.
Do I need an account?
No — browsing is open after the age gate: Discover, city and area pages, profiles, Live, Feed and Reels. An account is needed exactly where identity matters: contact details, messaging, booking and anything that costs money.
How do I contact a companion?
Sign in first — then the contact gate decides what you can see. Free members open contact details on paid listings; Pro (R100/month) opens everything, including massage and free-plan listings. Details in Messages, contact gating and safety in chat.
Are listings real?
Two gates stand between a scammer and a listing: the verification badge (a government ID plus a liveness selfie with a handwritten code, reviewed by a person — see Verification explained) and the moderation gate — media only appears on Lusty once it is approved. A profile without a badge is not automatically fake, but a badge you can see is the strongest signal the platform can give you.
Discretion for visitors
Browse without an account and leave nothing behind: location sharing is session-only and never persisted for guests. Once signed in, discreet browse stops models seeing that you viewed them, and payments appear under a neutral name on your paperwork — see Staying discreet.
