Following, favourites and connections
For everyone on Lusty
Lusty has three ways to keep a companion close, and they do different jobs. This article separates them.
The three relationship types
- Favourite — your quick list. A private bookmark of the profiles you want to find again fast. The companion is not notified.
- Follow — her posts and reels flow into your Feed. Following can carry a notify toggle: leave it on and you also get a notification for each new post; turn it off and you only see her in the Feed.
- Connect request — the two-way one. It asks for a mutual link between you and the companion. She accepts or declines; while connected, you each appear in the other's Connections list.
Members: how to do each
From any profile, use the buttons on the profile header:
- Favourite — adds her to your favourites list instantly.
- Follow — adds her to your feed; toggle notifications with the bell control next to it.
- Connect — sends a connect request; you will see it marked as pending until she answers.
You need to be signed in as a member for all three.
Models: where requests land
Connect requests arrive on your dashboard's requests panel with accept and decline actions. Accepting adds the member to your Connections; declining simply closes the request — the member is told the request was declined, without ceremony. You can also see who follows you and who favourited you from the same desk.
Where the lists live
- Following — everyone whose feed updates you receive.
- Connections — your accepted two-way links.
- Subscriptions — the creator tiers you pay for, kept separate from the free relationships.
- Saved — saved posts and saved reels, grouped into collections you name yourself.
All of these live in your account menu once signed in.
Notifications
You are notified for connect requests and answers, new posts from profiles you follow with notifications on, booking status changes, and moderation outcomes on your own content. Each notification offers a mark read action, and the panel offers mark-all. Notifications you do not want can be switched off per category in your notification settings — read more in Getting started as a member.
