Staying discreet: discreet browse, blocks and location privacy

For everyone on Lusty

Discretion is a design constraint on Lusty, not a premium extra. Here is what the platform does quietly for you, and what you control.

Discreet browse

Signed-in users can switch on discreet browse from the privacy settings screen. While it is on:

  • Your profile views stop being counted — models never see that you looked.
  • Nothing about your session announces itself; the toggle is server-side and silent.

Your own surfaces (messages, favourites, feed) keep working identically. The toggle is per-account: switch it on once and it stays on until you switch it off.

Viewer location share is session-only

Nearby and radius tools need a rough location. When you share your device location:

  • It is stored in your session only — never persisted for guests, never written to a profile, never sold or shared.
  • A clear option sits next to the feature: Clear my location wipes it from the session immediately.
  • Closing your browser ends the session and the location with it.

That is the whole story: Lusty uses your coordinates to rank and filter what you see, and keeps nothing.

Blocking, and how it differs from hide-from rules

  • Blocking (member or model) is personal: you block an account, the conversation hides, and neither side can message the other. Blocks are one-way and instant.
  • Hide-from rules are the model-side complement: a companion can exclude specific members, cities, suburbs or provinces from seeing her listing at all. If a listing you had open yesterday has vanished, a hide-from rule — not a glitch — is the most likely reason. As a member you cannot override it; that is the point.

Reporting without leaving the page

Every profile and post carries a report control. It opens a small form in place — reason and optional note — and files to the moderation desk without you navigating away. See Reporting abuse and requesting takedowns for what happens next.

Discreet billing and preferences

Lusty-related payments appear on your paperwork under the neutral beneficiary name printed on the invoice — never an explicit trading name (see How money moves on Lusty). Your currency and theme preferences live in the top bar and are per-device; neither ever exposes identity — they are cookies on your own browser, not profile facts.

Model-side tools

If you are a companion, your safety toolkit is bigger: panic quick-hide, geo-blocking and hide-from rules are covered in Panic mode, geo-blocking and hide rules.

Frequently asked

Does Lusty store my location?

No. Viewer location is stored in your session only, never persisted for guests, and a clear option wipes it on demand. Closing your browser ends it.
