Reporting abuse and requesting takedowns
For everyone on Lusty
Lusty gives you more than one door into the same moderation desk. All of them are free, none need an account, and all of them are read by a person.
The report lanes
- Report buttons on posts and profiles — the small report control on any post or profile. In-place, fastest for "this looks wrong".
- The public takedown form — at /report, for anything needing detail: non-consensual images, impersonation, copyright, your own depiction.
- The Help & Safety page — help-safety, which walks you to the right lane and documents the scam patterns.
In chat, the report control sits on the conversation itself.
What to include so a takedown can be actioned
A takedown request is actioned on specifics. Include:
- What — the exact content (a photo, a video, a whole listing) and what is wrong with it.
- Where — the profile name or link where it appears. A city and a name beat "I saw it on the site".
- Why — the reason: you did not consent, it is your image, the person may be underage, it is stolen, it impersonates someone.
Reports about age or consent need no proof to file — file first, the desk investigates.
Zero tolerance
Lusty has zero tolerance for suspected minors: suspected minors are reported, no exceptions. Nothing about the context changes this — not "she said she was 18", not a verified badge, not anything. A report of an apparent minor jumps every queue.
What happens after you report
- Your report lands in the moderation queue with its priority — age and consent reports first.
- An operator reviews it: content can be taken down immediately, and a listing can be suspended while it is investigated.
- You get an outcome notification — you are told what was decided, not left silent. Your identity is never revealed to the reported person.
Illegal content goes through the lanes
Reports about illegal content go through the report lanes above — never general contact or a DM. The lanes are timestamped, logged and prioritised; a message to support is none of those things. If your report is about your own images, the takedown policy documents the removal commitments and counter-notice process.
Frequently asked
Do I need an account to report something?
No. The report buttons and the public takedown form work without an account, and the report path is never rate-limited.
Will the person know I reported them?
No. Your identity is never revealed to the reported person. You receive the outcome; they receive the enforcement action.
