Trust & Safety

Last updated 2026-07-28 · Version 1.0

Your safety matters to us. This policy explains the tools and processes Lusty uses to build trust — verification, review integrity, payment-location security, panic mode, and content protections — and gives practical advice for meeting safely. These tools reduce risk; they do not remove it, and they are not a guarantee of safety. Read this alongside our Liability & Indemnity and Content & Conduct policies.

1. How verification works

  • Identity document. Creators and Managers submit a government-issued ID, which is checked to confirm they are a real, of-age individual.
  • Selfie face-match. A live selfie is captured and matched against the ID to confirm the account belongs to the person in the document and to deter impersonation.
  • Adult (21+) badge. Everyone on Lusty must be at least 18. Where a Creator's verified age is 21 or over, an optional verified-adult (21+) badge may be displayed as an added trust signal. The badge reflects verified age only; it is not a guarantee of conduct, and the absence of a badge does not imply anything negative.
  • Verification may be repeated at any time. See Content & Conduct for re-verification.

2. Diamond ratings and review integrity

Our Diamond rating system is designed so that feedback is genuine and fair to both sides:

  • Booking-gated. Only Members who have completed a paid booking with a Creator can leave a Diamond review of that Creator. This keeps out fake or retaliatory reviews from people who never transacted.
  • Double-blind. Reviews are mutual and double-blind: neither side sees the other's rating until both have submitted (or the review window closes). This reduces retaliation and pressure to trade favourable ratings.
  • Reviews that breach our standards — for example those containing contact details, threats, or content that identifies someone without consent — are moderated and may be removed.

3. Payment-location security

To protect both buyers and Creators, the Platform captures the device's location at the point of payment. This is a security and fraud-prevention measure: it helps confirm that a payment was authorised by the genuine account holder and helps us detect account takeover and fraudulent transactions. Location captured at payment is used for this purpose and handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Panic mode

Creators have access to a panic feature for use if they feel unsafe. When triggered, it is designed to quickly take protective action on the account and surface help. Panic mode is a support tool and is not a substitute for the emergency services — in an immediate emergency, always call the SAPS on 10111 first. Misusing the panic feature is a breach of our standards.

5. Messaging and blocked-content protections

  • Contact-info screening. Messages are automatically screened to block the sharing of phone numbers, addresses, and other contact details before a paid booking is confirmed. This protects both sides and keeps activity, and its safeguards, on the Platform.
  • Block and report. You can block any user and report messages, profiles, or content at any time. Blocking stops further contact; reporting sends the matter to moderation.
  • No off-Platform steering. Attempts to move you off the Platform to avoid these protections are a red flag and a breach of our Terms — please report them.

6. Advice for meeting safely

If you choose to meet someone, take sensible precautions. We suggest you:

  • Keep all communication, agreements, and payment on the Platform until a booking is confirmed;
  • Tell a trusted person where you are going, who you are meeting, and when you expect to be back;
  • Choose a setting you are comfortable with and trust your instincts — you can stop or leave at any time, for any reason;
  • Confirm consent and boundaries clearly, and respect a "no";
  • Look after your belongings, your drink, and your transport home;
  • Stop immediately and get help if anything feels wrong.

7. Emergencies and reporting harm

In an emergency in South Africa, call the SAPS on 10111 (or 112 from a mobile). To report serious harm, abuse, trafficking, or non-consensual content on Lusty, use the in-app reporting tools or contact our safety channel; reports involving minors, coercion, or non-consensual content are treated as our highest priority and are referred to the authorities as required.

Effective and binding. This policy is final and forms part of the Lusty Terms of Service. By using Lusty you agree to it. Questions or disputes: contact support via your account. Version 1.1 · effective 2026-07-28.
